Hello, My name is Michael Charis
I am a preacher of the gospel, a motivational speaker and an author.
I was born into a Christian (Baptist) family in Bai Kuke, somewhere in the South West region of Cameroon.
I grew up as a kingdom envoy and started preaching before the age of fifteen. I have been in ministry since then, with a divine mandate from God to unite the body of Christ.
My greatest passion is seeing the young people in my generation catch the fire of God and burn with it until Jesus comes.
I am also the author of Esther’s Secrets and Exposing The Powers Of The Midnight Hours.
HOW TO BREAK PATTERNS is a book I wrote by the inspiration and revelation of the Holy Spirit to expose the spiritual reality of the existence of the subject of patterns that I was bound by for so long.
When Adam rebelled against God by eating the forbidden fruit, beyond the act, he instituted a pattern of sin and death into the world, making everyone who come after his lineage to be a victim of that pattern (including you and me).
Aaron instituted the pattern of idol worship in Israel when he made an image of gold for the children of Israel to worship. It was a one time act, but it became a system because an altar was created.
I woke up one day, after being a minister of the gospel for years and realized that I have become almost everything I was preaching against. That was when it dawned on me that though I was a minister, I was trapped in a system that I needed to consciously break out from if I will fulfill destiny.
The reality of the existence of pattern cannot be overemphasized. Pattern is that regular repeated occurrence or arrangement of things. It is that set-up structure in a place, be it family or environment, that anyone can be born into.
Sadly, reality is that anyone born into this world is already a victim of the system of patterns in one way or the other. It may come from family lineage, community connections, mental influences or even environmental factors, yet, it is very spiritual.
A perfect example is father Abraham who was called by God Himself with a promise of blessings attached. He suffered from pattern that affected the generations after him: Barreness, Lies telling, first-born children never inherited the blessing, etc.
In this book, I have grouped the different kinds of patterns into:
1. Generational or blood patterns
2. Environmental patterns
3. Mental patterns
4. Traditional patterns
5. Religious patterns
My goal through the help of the Holy Spirit is to expose the spiritual reality of patterns, help you discover the one peculiar to you and of course, guide you through the word of God on how to break them.
